Job description

ALGOFI is looking for its future administrator ORACLE DATABASE (DBA) to support its growth.

Within our client’s IT Infrastructure teams, your missions will be:

  • Database Administration: ORACLE
  • Daily operation and tuning, performance monitoring of ORACLE databases Preventive maintenance, patching, data integrity checking, problem anticipation
  • Development and integration support
  • Writing Shell Script and optimizing the basics
  • Scheduling, Batch execution control
  • Managing resource access rules and controlling security
  • Platform migration, upgrade, structure evolution
  • Diagnosis, recommendation, management, and resolution of database operational incidents:
  • Monitoring and implementing scholarship migration
  • Ensure technical and functional support for all software components
  • Ensure the production of the entire architecture
  • Track and coordinate releases from development teams
  • Provide the first level of incident analysis on these software components
  • Guarantee the evolution of the support team’s tools on these tasks
  • Implementation and maintenance of monitoring processes and tools
  • Implementation and maintenance of reporting processes and tools
  • Develop and maintain documentation on these components and the platform.
Profile sought

You have proven experience in ORACLE database administration

OS: UNIX/ LINUX

Scripting: Shell Unix (ksh) / PL Sql

Knowledge of Control-M

You graduated from an engineering school, or a master 2 in computer science

Good level of English

Ability to work in mission-critical production environments.

Knowledge of the operating systems of the servers hosting the databases

    Max 8 files accepted : PDF, DOC, JPEG, 2Mo max per file.
